Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58

The Scriptures teach that all Christians are called to be ministers and that God has gifted each to live into that calling according to His plan. Embracing that understanding has become a hallmark of The Church of the Cross.

The Body of Christ which is The Church of the Cross is composed of over 2000 members and all are needed. There are countless ways to serve through lay ministries. In the booklet attached you will find the many ways to be a volunteer and serve at the Church. Volunteering will look a little different at each campus, but every set of hands is necessary. Some areas of service include – ushers, safety, technology, music, hospitality, docents, greeters, acolytes, chalice bearers, and altar guild.

Match your spiritual giftedness with the lay ministries listed in the booklet, so you can begin serving today. If you are interested in learning more about why you have been called to The Church of the Cross and how to begin serving, please take a moment to contact our staff.
