At The Church of the Cross, we know how important children are, so we strive to offer them a solid Biblical foundation while having fun. We believe that showing children God’s unfailing love for them and equipping them with the knowledge and love for Christ.

Nursery

We offer Nursery for our 0-3yr old friends on Sunday mornings at both of our campuses – Historic Campus (10AM Service), The Chapel (9AM Service) on the Cross Schools Campus, and the CrossPoint (10:30AM Service) at Cross Schools. We have a trained staff who provide a fun environment full of  songs and story times for the children where they will hear the gospel from an early age.

CrossPoint Campus | Sunday School | 10:30AM

  • Crawlers: This is our nursery program for infants–4 year olds. We will be offering brief lessons and teaching children worship songs to the older children in this group.
  • Explorers: This is our children’s program for 5–8 year olds. This class uses Seedbed Kids curriculum, a three-year program that surveys the Old Testament, New Testament, and Christian Living. Children will learn about God’s love for them through age-leveled lessons that can be applied to their everyday lives.
  • Navigators: This is our children’s program for 9–11 year olds. This class uses Foundation Worldview curriculum, which builds upon a child’s knowledge of God and prepares them to live as faithful believers in the world.

Each week the Explorer and Navigator classes will start together for a time of worship and prayer before breaking up into individual groups for a lesson, activity, and a small group experience.

Historic Campus | Sunday School | 10:00AM

Our Sunday School at the Historic Campus meets together with children in PK4-5th grade. We start each class with a time of worship and a Bible story followed by a game, activity or craft. The class joins their families in the church for communion each week.
