I’m so incredibly proud of my son Will (whom I call Willie). He’s officially headed to Charleston Southern University.
Will has such a good heart and is full of compassion and love for almost everyone he meets. I am most proud that he has lived into the faith that his mother and I worked so hard to instill in him. Although he will be away from home, home will not be far from him with so many friends set to attend Charleston Southern University or College of Charleston.
Charles Dickens claimed that pride for one’s children is not a sin for it is a mixture of two great Christian virtues: faith and hope. I thank the Lord that these virtues have produced a love for our children which I am inexpressibly grateful! Thanks to all of you who invested your lives to make a difference in his, Lisa and I are forever grateful!
Get Involved with Our Ministries
One of the most important ways to get connected at The Church of the Cross is to first become a member of our congregation. If you are not a member and you are interested in learning more about membership, please call the Parish Office (843.757.2661) and speak to Sue.
Membership begins with an informal meeting with clergy. The next step in getting connected would be joining a Bible Study or small group to be in community with other Believers.
