Men of the Cross:
Knowing, Growing, Serving

Men of the Cross is the structure to help men grow as disciples who are Known by Christ, Grow in Christ, Serve Christ.

We are Known By Christ because He has died the death we deserved to die and lives so we might live. We’ve turned away from going on our own and follow Christ on His way.

We Grow in Christ through knowing our brothers and being known by them. We reject the idea that we can live this life alone. Side-by-side with our brothers, we strive to become more like Jesus and lead others to know him and become like him.

We Serve Christ by loving our family, neighbors, community and church, joyfully giving up our preferences, time, and resources so they can see, feel, hear, and understand who Jesus is and His great love for them.

If you desire to Know, Grow, and Serve join us as we work to become more like Jesus, and walk together through this broken world.

Contact Rod Musselman  and Craig Pelley to get involved.

As Cross Christian Women, we strive to commit ourselves to live by, learn, and uphold the Word of God.

Cross Christian Women

We strive to:

  • Commit ourselves to live by, learn, and uphold the Word of God.
  • Connect women of all ages through Bible study, fellowship, and service.
  • Create an atmosphere where women can be released into their gifting for Kingdom purposes.
  • Cultivate positive, encouraging relationships that will provide opportunities for discipleship.

Women’s Bible Studies

If you want to grow in your faith, form lasting friendships and deepen your understanding of the Scriptures, the following Women’s Bible Studies are something that you might consider.

The Crossroads: Women's Small Group Bible Study logo

Crossroads Women’s Small Group Bible Study

Crossroads Ministry is a small group Bible Study which meets in homes in and around Bluffton for women who want to learn more about the Word of God. Crossroads provides a forum for women to connect authentically in an intimate setting and walk evermore faithfully with Jesus as we listen, learn and laugh. As women get to know each other they will see the Crossroads or intersections where there may be a basis for mutual sharing and encouragement.

Christmas Market Monthly Workshop logo

Christmas Market Crafters

Join in with a group of women to worship, pray, and create our own Christmas Market for November 2023. This will be a yearlong project as we will meet each month to:

Worship – Sing praises to Glorify God.
Pray – Join together to pray for one another, our families, Church, community and country.
Create – Drawing from our creative talents, we will create things to sell at the first annual Christmas Market for Bluffton.

If you would like to be a part of this group, sign up and get ready to have wonderful fellowship as we worship, pray and create!

Proceeds from the 2023 Christmas Market will go to supporting Women’s Ministry events and organizations and ministries that support women and children in our area. Email Kat or Sonja for more information or to join.

Get Involved with Our Ministries

One of the most important ways to get connected at The Church of the Cross is to first become a member of our congregation. If you are not a member and you are interested in learning more about membership, please call the Parish Office (843.757.2661) and speak to Sue.

Membership begins with an informal meeting with clergy. The next step in getting connected would be joining a Bible Study or small group to be in community with other Believers.

The Church of the Cross Locations

The Church of the Cross is situated across 3 distinct campuses. View our locations below:

Pray

Want us to pray for someone in need? Submit a prayer request (with their permission) and your prayer will be communicated with our clergy, Church staff, and Intercessory Prayer Team volunteers.

The person will remain on the prayer list for four weeks or until the office is notified otherwise.

Give

Everything we own and everything we have comes from God. So, when we give, we simply offer him a small portion of the abundance he has already given to us.

Giving is an expression of our thankfulness and praise to God, and there are various ways to give at The Church of the Cross.
