Cross Kids
At The Church of the Cross, we know how important children are, so we strive to offer them a solid Biblical foundation while having fun. We believe that showing children God’s unfailing love for them and equipping them with the knowledge and love for Christ.
We divide our Sunday School programs into 3 age brackets:
Crawlers
This is our nursery program for infants–4 year olds. We will be offering brief lessons and teaching children worship songs to the older children in this group.
Explorers
This is our children’s program for 5–8 year olds. This class uses Seedbed Kids curriculum, a three-year program that surveys the Old Testament, New Testament, and Christian Living. Children will learn about God’s love for them through age-leveled lessons that can be applied to their everyday lives.
Navigators
This is our children’s program for 9–11 year olds. This class uses Foundation Worldview curriculum, which builds upon a child’s knowledge of God and prepares them to live as faithful believers in the world.
Get Involved with Our Ministries
One of the most important ways to get connected at The Church of the Cross is to first become a member of our congregation. If you are not a member and you are interested in learning more about membership, please call the Parish Office (843.757.2661) and speak to Sue.
Membership begins with an informal meeting with clergy. The next step in getting connected would be joining a Bible Study or small group to be in community with other Believers.
