What began in September will conclude this coming Wednesday at 7pm at The Chapel. A series on C.S. Lewis’ life, work, and his profound impact on so many millions of people. In my estimation, his greatest work was two-fold, not only is he remembered for being one of the greatest defenders of the Faith in the history of Christendom but he is also one of the greatest children’s writers of all time! Seventy years after the original publication of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, these stories still capture the imagination of both children and adults. “Let us suppose,” Lewis wrote, “that there were a land like Narnia and that the Son of God, as He became a Man in our world, became a Lion there, and then imagine what would happen?”
All these years later my heart is still captured by his imagination and it’s hard for me to imagine a world without Aslan— either in Narnia or in our own. See you on Wednesday. The teaching will be in-person and streamed on the website and Facebook. I can’t wait!
