The Widows’ Ministry (Season Sisters) provides opportunities for fellowship, social activities, and resources to women in The Church of the Cross who have lost their husbands. Through this ministry, the widows grow in their relationship with Jesus and develop a bond of sisterhood. As part of our monthly meeting, our service project is The Church of the Cross Birthday Card Ministry.

Our October program will focus on the St. Stephen’s Food Bank in Ridgeland. The leader, Helen Shuler, will be our guest speaker. We are looking forward to learning what they do, who they serve and what their physical and personal needs are. Helen is a fascinating, loving and entertaining lady! Please remember to bring any non-food items you want to share with them. Ideas: toilet paper, Kleenex, diapers, detergents, dental products, wax paper, etc.
