What a Ride!
"Losing family obliges us to find our family. Not always the family that is our blood, but the family that can become our blood."
This Saturday will mark five years since arriving in Bluffton. Lisa and I, along with our (at the time) five children arrived to a new home and community. Leaving the mountains of North Carolina was difficult because of the incredible beauty that always surrounded us. God's Glory was everywhere! However, I have told many that I feel like we were handed a winning lottery ticket when we moved to Bluffton. Looking back, these years have been some of the most rewarding of our lives. In part because I have received a chance to work with a great man in Fr. Chuck Owens, I feel so thankful that the Lord has afforded me the opportunity to follow him. I am so blessed to work with a great staff that make it an awesome place to accomplish ministry for God's Glory. Most of all I feel a high privilege serving alongside so many of you, it is because of you that this place is so special. What a ride!
"Surely the Lord is in this place...what an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven!" Genesis 28:16-17
