jonathan167For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139

Sometime very soon, we're going to have a new son. Our five children are already beyond excited and regularly talk to Lisa's stomach. To stave off an early delivery she's been on partial bed-rest for the last couple of weeks and, praise God, has made it to thirty-six weeks. We feel thankful because that means the baby will be delivered locally. Thank you for bringing meals the last few weeks; you have shared our burden and blessed us. We also want you to share in our excitement as we did when Trevor and Julie Harden delivered their son Styles this past week. By the way, he's very cute!

It still amazes me, even after having five children, that a mother can carry a little human-being inside of her for nine-months before giving birth. It's incredible when I can feel the baby kicking while lying in bed. It's wonderful seeing the children's excitement and their longing to see, hear and hold their newest brother. I draw a great amount of comfort from Psalm 139. Before the beginning of time God knew my son, even before I was even born. He has formed and put him together. He is fearfully and wonderfully made....and because of that I praise Him.

Glorify God and enjoy Him forever,

jonathan-sig
