For everything there is a season,
A time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.      Ecclesiastes 3

The above was written by Solomon nearly 3000 years ago toward the end of his life, his wisdom still rings true. Every Christian has highs and lows, seasons on top of the Mountain or in the depths ofSarah the Valley. Sunday mornings are particularly exciting for me because I have the privilege to share with people the great story of God and what He is doing. Other times are much harder and this week would be one of them. Sitting with a 16-year-old girl whose mother died on Monday, just a few years after losing her Father. Sometimes there are no words except that God is near and ever present help in trouble. What has become even more clear to me is the incredible impact that Cross School plays on our community. I praise God for the faith it has instilled in so many, that carries the day even years later. Sarah's presence from Kindergarten to graduation has clearly inspired in her a Faith that looks through and even beyond death. As she reminded me of the scripture "My grace is all you need. God's power works best in weakness...For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Pray for Sarah.
