jonathan167Every week our Church is involved in a ministry that is mostly hidden, our Food Bank - hidden because it takes place in the morning in the middle of the week. A small group of volunteers gather early Tuesday mornings to be ready for the 9:30 opening. We serve between 90 -110 families, ranging from single moms and retirees to those searching for work and those on fixed incomes. A Gospel message is shared, prayers requests taken, and groceries donated by parishioners, friends and local supermarkets are dispersed.

For some, it may be the only time they receive God's love through the hands of our many volunteers and Cross Schools children. We are truly blessed with people who have servants' hearts and work behind the scenes to make this happen. It's the generous contributions from our parishioners and others that allow us to reach out to so many. It's an incredible and deeply impactful ministry. Please stop by any Tuesday morning and chip in; we can always use more help.

"Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:40
