When I first meet people in this community I'm often asked two questions; "Where are you from"... and "What do you do?" When I mention that I'm a minister at The Church of the Cross what usually comes next is a mention of how beautiful our Historic Campus is. However, two weeks ago I heard something different, this person went on to say how great it is that our church is so involved in helping the community through the "Food Bank" and "God's Goods." A church that didn't just care about meeting their own needs but was serving the community to make a difference.

That is the greatest compliment we can receive, that we are reflecting the Glory of God in such a way where peoples' lives are better because of it!

This past weekend all of us will had the chance to turn in our Time, Talent, and Treasure packets. Please know that we're in this together and we need everyone to make our light shine brighter as we move into this New Year. Come and be a part of this Church, a City on a Hill, that gives light in such a way that everyone sees it.

Glorify God and Enjoy Him Forever!
