Rockers & Rollers (infants to 1yr)

A seperate classroom is in the works at both campuses for our wee-ones! This classroom will have all the comforts of home, and the love that surrounds it. We will have sing-a-longs for those who are old enough, and media playing throughout the morning that introduces children to the sounds and sites of Bible story characters. This is a fun time in the life of our families, and we want to be all about helping you nurture your little ones in the faith.

Movers & Shakers (1-2 year olds)
|
|
|
These young ones are all about movin' and and shakin'! Through interactive and hands-on learning, we will introduce them to fun traditional as well as new Bible songs and stories. Media and Bible story time through puppets and video drama will be utilized throughout the morning.

1st LOOK CURRICULUM (2, 3 & 4 year olds)

This unique curriculum teaches three basic truths to children:
1. God Made ME
2. God Loves ME
3. God wants to be my Forever Friend
Our Small Talk Time...
Our new monthly Small Talk will introduce parents to four strategic times that they can use to Create a Rhythm in the spiritual development of their preschooler. This new web-based design will provide parents with opportunities to integrate the month’s Bottom Line into Bath Time, Drive
Time, Play Time and Cuddle Time. The new Small Talk will be offered in a one-page PDF. Keep an eye out for this on Sunday mornings.

Waumba Land (3 & 4 year olds)
|
|
|
This high energy and applicable ministry program is modeled around our three and four year olds. Waumba Land is held each Sunday morning at our Buckwalter Campus.
We sing vibrant and interactive songs to teach the Bible, and follow that with Bible lessons taught by our great team of leaders through puppets, drama and media. Small groups are an important element of this age group too. Join us this Sunday in Waumba Land! All children begin in the church worship center with their parents and then come forward for the Children's Sermon. Chidlren then exit with their leaders. Parents can pick their children up after service in the Pre-K Wing of the building.
Calhoun Campus-all children return to service each and every Sunday prior to Communion.

Cross KIDS Church (K-5th grades)
|
|
|
Cross KIDS Church is a place where every child can worship and be discipled in a large group format. This summer, we will gather together for worship, muisc and our large group lesson. We will be teaching for the month of June, "Responsibility" and in July, our virtue is "A Servants Heart".
Children will begin in service with their parents each Sunday and come forward for the Children's Message. We will then take the children upstairs for Cross KIDS Church.
At the end of service, you can pick your child up in their designated classroom in the Pre-K Wing.

252 BASICS CURRICULUM (K-5th)

We want every child who participates in 252 Basics to grow up and say ...
WISDOM- I need to make the wise choice. So I will ...
a. trust and follow Jesus.
b. spend time getting to know God.
c. do whatever God says.
d. discover God's unique plan for my life.
FAITH- I can trust God no matter what. Because ...
a. He is my Creator.
b. He is my Father.
c. He is my Guide.
d. He is my Savior.
FRIENDSHIP-I should treat others the way
I want to be treated. So I will ...
a. show God's love to those around me.
b. care enough to put others before me.
c. respect whoever God puts over me.
d. be the right friend to those beside me.
This curriculum comes from Luke 2:52, where Jesus grew in staure, wisdom and favor with God and man.

Primetime (Grades K-1)

|
Our Primetime class meets after large group Cross KIDS Church. This small group of children use interactive, hands-on learning through games and activities focused to build on the monthly "Virtue" and "Bottom Line" (see curriculum info). Kids are introduced to Bible scripture memorization, and begin understanding the importance of praying for each other.

Promiseland (Grades 2-3)

|
Our Promiseland class meets after large group Cross KIDS Church. Our Promiseland Class is an active learning environment as we build our monthly virtues and scripture memory verses into a hands-on teaching platform. Children in this age group will learn through team building and learning to work with others to acomplish a task.

Cross Roads (Grades 4-5)
|
|
|
This is an age specific small group which meets after large group Cross KIDS Church. Our curriculum takes this deeper into discipleship as we discover core truths and develop ways to build on the Godly virtues for each month. Scripture verse memorization and ways to apply the Word are a main focus of our time together, as well as understanding prayer and it's importance in our spiritual formation.
