Annual Christmas Bazaar and Arts Festival
The Annual Christmas Bazaar is held each year on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Homemade Christmas crafts, canned goods and baked goods produced by our own crafters and canners. Many volunteers insure that this event is a success and a blessing to the Church as well as the community. It is held at the Historic Campus from 9:00am-1:00pm. The funds raised go to support women's ministries and various outreach events in the church, school and community through CCW (Cross Christian Women) grants. Please contact Sandra Morgan, firstname.lastname@example.org or Kaye Dardaris, email@example.com for more information.
Bluffton Village Festival
This is an outdoor event enjoyed by thousands every year on the Saturday before Mother's Day; we are one of the many food vendors. Volunteers make Shrimp Salad and Chicken Salad Sandwiches which we sell under a tent in front of the Church entrance on Calhoun Street. We need several volunteers for this event. There will be a sign up sheet posted in the Parish Hall. For more information please contact Kaye Dardaris, firstname.lastname@example.org.
We make jams, relishes, pickles and chutneys during the peak seasons from fresh fruits and vegetables. If you wish to learn how to can or assist with the big projects (primarily during the spring and summer months), contact Sandra Morgan, email@example.com.
Daughters of the King
The Order of The Daughters of the King is for women who are interested in continuing their baptismal vows and wish to take on a life that includes praying daily for unity in Christ's Church; the spread of Christ's Kingdom; God's blessings upon members of our chapter; our clergy; and the spiritual growth of our parish community. The silver cross the Daughters wear is either pinned on the left side over the heart or on a chain as a necklace that symbolizes love for Christ our King.
As we grow in community together, we make the banners given to children at Baptism and this year we continue to provide hospitality service at Cross School Family Chapel. Through these projects and others we fulfill our commitment to serve our Church.
Our Chapter meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Meetings include prayer, fellowship and an opportunity to learn and grow in Christ. Training for new Daughters is held in early spring on Saturdays. For more information please contact Lynelle Jensen, firstname.lastname@example.org at 443-995-1753.

Heart to Heart - Women's Mentoring Ministry
As women of faith, we are called to share with other women. Heart to Heart intentionally develops friendships among women of different generations. Women invest in each other's lives through encouragement, guidance, listening, laughing and loving. These relationships become a source of spiritual support, strength and growth. For more information contact Mimi Harmon, 770-316-1168 or email@example.com.
Shepherds reach out to touch new women members with Christian love and hospitality. We introduce them to the facilities, activities and ministries of the Church. We encourage them to share their time, talents and resources. To learn more about this ministry or how to become a shepherd, please contact Joyce Quam, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Wedding Guild members offer assistance to those involved in the wedding party. The bride has one meeting with a guild member and the Rector's Assistant prior to the day of the ceremony. At least two guild members attend both the rehearsal and the ceremony. In addition to specific tasks to assist the Officiant, the guild is present to serve the bride and her guests. Please contact Leslie Young, email@example.com for more information about joining this guild.

Cross christian women news
Photos from our October 24th luncheon. Speaker Wendy Duke and daughter Savannah helped us to "Recognize God's Voice Amid the Noise of Life".
On Friday evening, May 2nd, Cross Christian Women hosted a Mother - Daughter Dinner & a Show. Over 170 women and children of all ages attended this wonderful and very special evening. It was truly a multi-generational event.
A night where mothers and daughters could celebrate one another and spend time together in a very intimate way. The evening began with the children decorating beautiful prayer boxes (hand painted by the D.I.V.A.S and intricate detail hand painting by Paul Mercer). They then chose personalized scripture verses to put inside their boxes. This was followed by a lovely dinner and a
performance by the Cross Schools' Drama Club. The play was an enactment of Beth Moore's children's book "My Child My Princess, a Parable about the King".
The evening ended with daughter's presenting a pink carnation to their mother in thanksgiving for all the things that only mothers can do and amazing cupcakes by Lowcountry Flour Girls for dessert!!!
Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers, table hostesses, food hostesses, and performers who made this night so special.
Some responses from the night:
"Mom, this was the best night ever!!!" Audrey, age 5
"A lovely evening!" Margaret, age 93
"Mom, I love my prayer box, I can't wait to add to it!" Reagan, age 10
Books from the evening are still available for sale for $14 at the parish office, 843-757-2661.
