By God's grace, Becky and I are excited to announce that we will be leading an eleven-day pilgrimage to Israel next summer (June 12-22, 2019)! We're personally excited for the opportunity to once again see the Bible "come alive" on location; but we're even more excited for those who'll be journeying with us, those who will be walking in the footsteps of Jesus for the first time.
The itinerary we've planned is two days longer than our three previous trips for several reasons. First, there is so much to see and we added more; second, we built in additional time for discussion and meditation; third, we thought it important to slow the pace enough to avoid mental and physical fatigue (it'll still be hectic).
Our chosen guide, Raouf Karborani, traveled to Bluffton from Israel to discuss pertinent details with me in July; with him was Tyler Wilcox, head of the travel agency selected to make arrangements for us - both have served us with distinction previously.
If you would like further information, please click here and a brochure will be sent to you; brochures may also be picked up in the Parish Office (82 Calhoun Street).
An informational meeting will be held Sunday afternoon, October 28th, at 3:00pm in the Parish Hall on the Historic Campus. Please understand that the number of pilgrims will be limited.
