By God’s grace and with the enthusiastic endorsement of both, The Rt. Rev. Mark Lawrence, Bishop of South Carolina, and The Rt. Rev. Robert Duncan, Bishop of Pittsburgh, The Rev. Chris Royer will be joining the leadership team of The Church of the Cross on September 1, 2008. In addition to his responsibilities as a priest, Chris will oversee the expansion of our faith formation program into a multi-generational pathway toward spiritual maturity.
God’s bringing Chris to us is yet another testimony of His faithfulness to His faithful people. Our trust in the Lord’s guidance and provision has now positioned us to move dramatically and boldly to transform our God-given vision into a reality. I firmly believe that we are about to enter a season of unbounded Spirit-filled and Spirit-powered ministry, the likes of which we’ve never before experienced – praise God! Know that I am humbled and honored to have the privilege of working with you in this exciting time.
