Good News Club: Volunteers needed
The last two years The Church of the Cross adopted a Good News Club to bring the life changing message of Jesus to young boys and girls ages 5-12 years old. It is held at the Bluffton Elementary School and Early Childhood Center. We meet for two hours once a week and use biblical power point presentations, sing songs and have fun! We will start again in September 2017; those interested in volunteering will need to complete a short traning session in August (TBA).
We have 22 boys and girls in this once a week after school program.
Did you know recent research has determined:
• A child’s moral foundation is generally in place by the time they reach age 9.
• What children believe by age 13, is what they will die believing.
The Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship who has been in existence for 80 years. They provide standardized Bible curriculum, which includes power point presentations. There are approximately 30 schools that allow the Good News Club after school program in Beaufort County.
